Abstract
Aiming at the problem of the coupling relationship between the three phases in the traditional single-cycle control of the three-phase three-wire VIENNA rectifier, an improved one cycle control method is proposed. The VIENNA rectifier is decoupled into two boost circuits formed in series, and the power factor correction is realized by controlling the maximum input phase current and the minimum input phase current to be sine waves. And through theoretical analysis, it is proved that the method has the advantages of self-balancing characteristics of the DC side midpoint potential and smaller loss compared with the traditional one cycle control. Finally, the VIENNA rectifier is built by MATLAB/Simulink, which proves the feasibility of the proposed method and has good dynamic performance.
