Abstract
The Class Φ2 inverter has become a research hotspot for high frequency applications due to low voltage stress and load-independent ZVS operation. However, the previous design procedures based on the Bode diagram of the high order resonant network are inconvenient for parameter tuning during simulation. In this paper, a unit-less model of the Class Φ2 inverter is presented to broaden the application of parameters and a new parametric design method is proposed, that achieves decoupling design of the switch voltage stress and reduces design iterations through the constraint lines of the capacitor voltage stress and ZVS. It is verified by simulation results that the optimal parameters can be found in the design area, and the experimental prototype is being built.
